DAY 1 MATERA FD
Departure for Matera, visit to the famous "Sassi ", declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993, represent an unforgettable landscape, characterized by houses carved into the limestone rock and frescoed rock churches that make it unique in the world. This natural conformation of the Sassi, which evokes biblical scenarios, has always made them ideal sets for important films such as " the Gospel according Matteo " by Pasolini and" The Passion of the Christ" by Mel Gibson . DAY 2 POLICORO/ANGLONA/TURSI
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Policoro, visit to the National Museum of the Siritide, continuation to the Sanctuary of S. Maria di Anglona, one of the most famous medieval monuments in the region, which according to tradition was founded in the 12th century on the site of the Greek Pandosia. The hill where the Sanctuary is located overlooks the entire valley of the Sinni and Agri rivers from a height that offers the possibility of glimpsing evocative and enchanting views. We arrive in Tursi, a small town built by the Goths between the 4th and 5th centuries. The first nucleus of houses appeared on the hill where the Saracens erected the Tower of Tursico its founder who gave the town its name. DAY 3 ROTONDELLA / NOVA SIRI
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Rotondella, located on the hillside owes its toponym to its circular shape and, because of its dominant position high above the coast ,it is also called " balcony on the Ionian " . Continuation to Masseria Cantina Crocco, producers of Primitivo, Aglianico, Merlot, Cabernet and Sauvignon wines: Ventomare, Adorno Rosso, Puleggio Rosso, Brigà Rose', Matinone. Tasting lunch with typical local products. Continuation to Craco " Ghost Town," whose origins date back to the 7th century BC. DAY 5 BERNALDA : FOOD EXPERIENCE AND DINNER AT HOME
Breakfast and departure for Bernalda, located on a clay plateau about 15 km. From the Ionian Metapontine Coast. Known for being the birthplace of the grandparents of the famous film director Francis Ford Coppola, who, in love with Basilicata, often returns to Bernalda in the Palazzo Margherita historic residence of the 19th century, now a 5-star luxury accommodation facility. DAY 6 PISTICCI / ESSENCE LUCANO

We continue on to Azienda Masseria Lanzolla, run by the Mininni Lanzolla family, an all-female enterprise that commits energy to the vineyards and work on the grapes. The varieties grown are: Aglianico, Cabernet Frank, Cabernet Sauvignon, Negroamaro, Primitivo, Merlot, white berry Chardonnay. They currently produce six wines , two DOC and four IGT. We reach Essenza Lucano: an immersive journey into the Amaro Lucano world, a journey through five different areas that trace the history of the company since 1894. DAY 7 COLOBRARO / TAVERN CELLARS
