I Paesaggi che si possono ammirare, raggiungendo Craco Vecchia, sono all’incirca gli stessi dei precedenti itinerari n.1 e 2, con prevalenza di agrumeti ai margini del fiume Agri e di zone calanchive. Craco Vecchia, è quasi interamente disabitato e diroccato a causa del sottosuolo franoso su cui fu costruita anticamente e che ha provocato negli anni, frane e smottamenti che hanno reso necessario lo sgombero dei cittadini dalle proprie abitazioni. La bellezza e la caratteristica di questo sito, lo stanno rendendo sempre più famoso ed utilizzato dalle case cinematografiche di tutto il mondo, che hanno realizzato e stanno realizzando, al pari dei Sassi di Matera, molte riprese cinematografiche.

The scenery you can see, reaching Old Craco, are roughly the same as the previous route No. 1 and 2, with the majority of citrus groves on the edge of the River Agri and calanchi areas. Old Craco, is almost entirely uninhabited and in ruins because of the landslide ground on which was built in ancient times and has led over the years the evacuation of citizens from their homes. The beauty and the feature of this site are making it increasingly popular and used by movie studios around the world, who have made and are making, like the Stones of Matera, many film shoots.
