In Search of Baroque Architecture and Trulli
Join us on a journey to the heart of the Itria Valley, where 18th-century elegance meets fairy-tale architecture unlike anywhere else in the world.
- Martina Franca: We’ll start with a charming walking tour of the historic center. Let yourself be enchanted by the labyrinth of white-washed alleyways, the elegant mansions, and the splendor of Apulian Baroque architecture that adorns every corner of this charming town.
- Alberobello: We will continue on to the “Capital of the Trulli,” a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. We will admire these iconic dry-stone structures, whose contrast between the gray of the conical roofs and the whiteness of the lime creates a unique urban and folkloric landscape, suspended between history and legend.
The price includes: bus transportation and a half-day tour guide in Italian.
